Painted Garden is the second solo record from psychedelic troubadour Greg Ashley.  Partially written in a burnt-out ghetto in Oakland, partly written in his remote studio in Kosse, Tx,. Painted Garden established Ashley as one of the foremost songwriters of his day following in the footsteps of Roky Erikson, Doug Sahm and Lightnin’ Hopkins. ­­
